Her father came originally from New York and her mother came from her native American South, and Lauren is of Irish, English, and Scottish heritage. Her parents came of Northern Virginia, USA. They are Fairfax, Arlington, Great Falls, VA. She received her bachelor's degree from Southern Methodist University in acting with a Master's Degree. She was raised by her father. She was 5 when her parents separated. She had always wanted to become an athlete as a kid but due to her height, it was simply not possible.
